About Star of India
Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest and largest non-religious, non-political, fraternal organisations and now has more than 300,000 members in England and Wales, and millions worldwide.
A core principal of Freemasonry is kindness and the Star of India Lodge supports many worthy causes. Click here to read more about the differences we’ve made in the wider community.
In the last ten years Star of India has helped to raise over £31 thousand individually and £48 million last year alone as part of The United Grand Lodge of England.
Kindness has always been a core principle of Freemasonry and the Star of India Lodge is committed to helping others, whether locally, nationally or globally.
As part of the United Grand Lodge of England, the governing body of Freemasonry in England, we are one of the UK’s largest charitable givers.
On behalf of every London Freemason, I am delighted to announce the launch of our latest charity appeal in support of the London Community… The appeal is the latest step in the London Masons objective to go support the London community and help make London a safer place to live and work, it follows successive appeals to purchase a state of the art Cyberknife for Bart’s Hospital, five rapid responder cars for the London Ambulance Service, and the recent two million pounds donation to help fund London’s badly needed second Air Ambulance.
